According to the U.S Center for Disease Control, “The flu continues its steady spread across the U.S. during a frigid winter, with the virus widespread in 35 states, up from 25 last week,”

The young about the age 18-64 are very badly hitting with the flue because about 61.5% patients are is hospital between the ages 18-64.

According to the Dr. Richard Besser (Chief Health and Medical editor), “The flu is not only dangerous for the very old and very young,”

Dr. Richard Besser also said that, “It’s very hard to predict who is going to have a bad case of the flu; usually it’s the young or elderly,”

Dr. Richard Besser points out that in recent years the vaccine has helped protect people from being infected with the H1N1 virus.

According to the CDC, “Approximately 9.7 out of every 100,000 people with the flu have needed to be hospitalized,”
