According to news; Pakistan Army chief Gen Raheel Sharif awarded on Tuesday a souvenir to veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi for his services to national cricket during his 17 years long international career.
After the meeting Shahid Afridi addressed to media and said that he is so thankful to Pakistan Army chief Gen Raheel Sharif who gave me this award. Shahid Afridi said that this is a great achievement to him and I am so happy for this honor.
In 17-year ODI career, Shahid Afridi represented Pakistan in 373 matches, scoring 7,516 runs besides taking 375 wickets. He has also played 70 T20 matches scoring 1,044 runs besides claiming 73 wickets. In 27 Test matches, Shahid Afridi scored 1,716 and captured 48 wickets.
