Washington area, Temperature is expected to climb the low 40s, with a good chance of rain by nightfall.


According to the National Weather Service that, on Monday the weather will return turn wicked. It will be as cold as seven degrees and the wind making it seem like it’s 15 below zero.


According to the Washington Post Capital Weather Gang, “Basically we are looking at the some of the coldest temperature since 1994 in the region,”


The National Weather Service said that, a new record for low temperature could occur on Tuesday because when the mercury drops towards the 5 degrees recorded 0n Jan.7,


In last Saturday, The police were checked the classroom heating in the areas.


According to the Pamela L. Michell (director of New Hope Housing) said that, her organization expects a surge of people inside its two shelters in Fairfax County, where scores of homeless people camp out in the woods.


The Michell also said that, “We have a no-away policy, no matter how many zillion people we get,”


Mark Brady (public information officer for the Prince George’s County Fire Department) said that, about 80 percent of fire fatalities involve the use of spare heater.


Brady said that, “Space heaters are a major concern for firefighters,”


Brady also said that, “noting that such fires typically occur when bed-sheets dangling near space combust while home owner are asleep. It’s best to unplug the units before going to bed.
