According to the police and militants, a bomb placed by an ethnic separatist group derailed a train in southwest Pakistan on Sunday, killing 8 people.


According to the Muhammad Azeem (police official), Three of the dead were children and another 20 people were wounded by the blast in Kashmor district, which caused several train cars to run off the track.


Kashmor is placed in Sindh province and Al-Qaida-linked militants also have a presence there. The Baluch Republican Army claimed the responsibility.


According to the Sarbaz Baluc (spokesman of group), the attack was a reaction to what he assumed were killings in Baluchistan’s Dera Bugti region by Pakistani paramilitaries.


According to the Saad Rafiq (Pakistan Railways Minister), officials were functioning to regenerate the track at original.

In the meantime, a roadside bomb killed a policeman guard of the polio vaccination drive team in the outer reaches of northwestern city of Peshawar.


According to the Ibrahim Khan (police official), one more officer was injured in the show aggression during the weekly anti-polio campaign in the Budhni locale.


Any group has not claimed the responsibility for this incident.
