Niamey: More than 28 people were died and at least 51,000 affected by flooding in Niger (country).
According to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, subsequent to intense rains in June, flooding has damaged at least 4500 homes and more than hundred hectares of fields and gardens.
Report said the figures are penetratingly higher than the last United Nation estimates on August 12, which said at least twelve people were died and more than 27,000 had been affected by flooding.
