Washington, D.C: at least 600,000 homes in Michigan (US State) and Illinois (US State) were left without power after heavy lightning and winds ripped through the northwestern United States.


Officials said at least 2 people were killed, a woman from Illinois (US State) died after sustaining heavy injuries form tree falling and other man form Michigan (US State) was died after coming into contact with power line.


According to Scott Simons (DTE Energy Co spokesman), on Saturday more than 350,000 homes were left without power in southeastern Michigan.


The Commonwealth Edison (company) reported, more than 174,000 people in Illinois were lift with electricity after Friday storms.
