Abuja: about 44 people have been died in the result of church building collapse in Lagos on Sunday and dozens wounded, while 130 rescued with the help of rescue team and some residence.


Synagogue Church Of all Nations is situated in the 2-story building, televangelist T.B. Joshua is conducting it in Lagos city’s area Ikotun.


The officials informed to media, nearly 130 people have been pulled out safely into the wreckage of devastated building. The rescue workers have taken to the nearest hospital but it said some injured people are in a serious condition.


The National Emergency Management Agency spokesman, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye describedto news reporters like this about this sudden incident, “The toll may increase as rescue operation is still ongoing because many people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.”


However, the actual reason of this collapse in not came out yet but the residence of this area had told that the construction to expanding this building was going on, hence building collapsed, though there is not confirm yet as investigation starts it would be clear.
