HANOI, six died, other six suffered badly in an unfortunate incident at a karaoke bar in northern Vietnam.
In Quang Ninh province, at karaoke bar 12 people were spending their night after drunk. It has supposed that after power breakdown, generator started left high quantity of carbon monoxide, became the reason of death of six people, while six inhaled heavy fumes of gas are in critical condition.
As a policeman said “The bar owner ran the generator and we believe the victims suffocated due to generator fumes,”
This is not first occurrence, In May, five people burned to death in a fire accident at a karaoke bar after an electrical fault, many of such accident are on record having deaths and injuries in these karaoke bars, famous for entertainment and dinking corners, but many of these have no safety exits.
