The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Punjab has release a video statement, in which they are saying about to remove all militant activities and decided to preach Islam.


Asmatullah Muaviya, who is the head of banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Punjab, said in a video statement, in which is request to all other militant groups and also appealed Pakistani government to give permission those who ran away to Afghanistan fear of Pakistani military’s ongoing operation ‘Zarb-i-Azb’ that killing fighters and destroying Taliban’s hideouts in North Waziristan.


To get to grips with the significance of this development, Dawn spoke to retired Brigadier Asad Munir, a defense analyst and a former senior operative with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).


When the media reporters asked about this video to Military, in the answer said, the video massage from Taliban Head Asmatullah Muaviya is a great witness of the success of army’s Zarb-e-Azb operation. The massage tells that they want to surrender.
