According to news; UAE government has welcomed the decision by the British government that exempts Emirati citizens from pre-entry visa as of early 2014.The British Prime Minister David Cameron had earlier announced the exemption of UAE nationals visiting the UK from visa rules.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyah; Foreign Minister, admired the step as a major breaking through that would help visa procedures for Emiratis wishing to travel to the UK and said the move would benefit both countries in all economic, health, tourism and cultural fields, would further encourage the bilateral relations of friendship.
