Cairo: Arab league (regional organization of Arab countries) will take all necessary measures to combat ISIS militants in Syria (country) and Iraq (country).
Nabil al-Arabi (Chief of Arab League) recommended that armed forces battle may be conducted under the umbrella of the organization’s combined defense pact.
On the other hand, it is not clear whether the Arab League’s commitment will include direct military involvement in Iraq and Syria.
John Kerry (U.S Secretary of State) spoke with Nabil al-Arabi (Chief of Arab League) by telephone on Saturday to talk about the need for the Arab League members to take a physically powerful situation in the combination that is being put together to confront the militants, as well as measures to stop the flow of foreign fighter, clamp down on its financing and to combat its ideology.
