Sanaa: police in Yemen was tried to disperse Shi’ite Muslim Houthi protesters blocking the road between and the capital and Sanaa airport, as the result one man (Yemeni) was shot dead and several other wounded.


Demonstrators said that police used tear gas and water cannon against the protesters, who were camped along the road near the interior ministry.


The protest organizing committee said one demonstrator was shot dead and also adding that a number of protesters were also received gunshot wounds.


Muhammad Abdul Salam (Rebel spokesman) said in statement, “we hold the authorities responsible for the responsible of the repercussions of this aggression and we stress the right of our people to self-defense using all means if the aggression continues”.
