What is Dance?
When your body move rhythmically to music then your moves in different shapes according to music ups and downs then dance appears. Dance is a unique form of expression, employing a universal visual communication that everyone understands.
01: Mikhail Baryshnikov
Mikhail Nikolaevich Baryshnikov is the biggest name in dance world and hence he is on the top in our list. Russian-American dancer, choreographer, and actor, often cited with Vaslav Nijinsky and Rudolf Nureyev as one of the greatest ballet dancers in history. He joined the ‘New York City Ballet’ as a principal dancer to learn George Balanchine’s style of movement.

03: Rudolf Nureyev
Russian ballet dancer and choreographer who became biggest name of the 20th century in dance field. In 1961 he defected to the West, despite KGB efforts to prevent him. For many years he partnered Dame Margot Fonteyn. He was gay and unfortunately, Nureyev was one of the early victims of HIV, died from AIDS in 1993.

Indian film actress who stated her career with Hindi cinema, later she took great interest in dance and learnt with hard work and made bollywood dancing Queen. Dixit worked first time in ‘Abodh’ and known as super actress by her awesome act in ‘Tezaab’ 1988.
05: Joaquín Cortés
Joaquín Cortés belongs to Córdoba; he showed huge interest in dancing by little age. Cortés started to take formal dancing lessons and studying seriously. In 1984, he was accepted as a member of Spain’s prestigious national ballet company. He showed his talent in whole world with the Spanish National Ballet, performing in important venues such as the Metropolitan Opera House (Lincoln Center) of New York and the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

Shakira belongs to Colombia; she is singer-songwriter, dancer, record producer, choreographer and model. Bollywood actor and dancer who entered in film industry with her father film ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ in 2000 and proved his acting talent. His performance in the film earned him Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Male Debut. He has a great interest in dance from little age and did work hard and became super dancer.
