Doctors; Sunanda Had not Been Seriously Sick or Critical

Doctors-Sunanda-Had-not-Been-Seriously-Sick-or-Critical

According to the statement of the management of Kerale Institute of Medical Science (KIMS), “She was admitted to the hospital for two nights and three days between January 12 and 14 and various tests, including an endoscopy, were performed on her,”

According to the Dr G Vijaraghavan, She was admitted because we believe that some tests are best conducted so. She was supposed to come back for a review on January 20, by when her blood test and other results would have been verified by a team of doctors from departments such as gastro, cardio and respiratory medicine.

We are shocked about her death as she had walked out of the hospital and appeared cheerful. There was nothing to indicate that she had been seriously ill or critical. We have only given her basic medicines.

According to the doctor who did not wish to reveal his name, We performed the tests on her because we wanted our own medical records on her illness and did not want to rely on the diagnosis at another hospital. Some reports were handed over to the Tharoors almost immediately. Tharoor was by her side throughout and even stayed with her in the hospital.
