Cairo: criminal court in Egypt sentenced Mubarak-era Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Rashid Mohamed Rashid and his daughter to 15 years in prison.
According to the news, they were referred to the court in March and faced charges of smuggling EGP 500 million to Cyprus (Country).
Media report said that, “Rashid supposedly hide money from the financial confession he presented after he left office following the January 2011 events.
The money was secret by a transfer from Cyprus to London, which he managed with the help of his daughter”.
