Tokyo: Two Japanese cabinet ministers visited a controversial war shrine Friday, seen as a symbol of Tokyo’s militarist past by China and South Korea.


According to information, Dozens of other politicians were also expected to gather at the Yasukuni shrine in downtown Tokyo later in the day.


Prime Minister Shinzo Abe sent a donation to the shrine through an aide.
