Islamabad: Pakistan most popular political party according to recent Gallup survey has decided to quit from National Assembly provincial assemblies.
“We are resigning from the National Assembly, Punjab Assembly, Baluchistan Assembly and Sindh Assembly,” Shah Mahmood Qureshi told the media on Tuesday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has already launched a civil disobedience movement throughout the country in Pakistan.
“I invite people from across the country to come and attend the session,” he said in an address early Tuesday, adding that whatever decisions the “people’s parliament” took would be fully implemented.
