Peshawar: Imran Khan (Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf) demanded the resignation with 16 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) over the issue of re-election in Pakistan.


According to the PTI MNA Engineer Hamid Ul Haq, “The MNAs will hand over their resignations to the party chief during a parliamentary meeting two hours before the NA session in Islamabad”.


PTI MNA Engineer Hamid Ul Haq said that, “Our protest in the country to move election process on right way but we know that results will not be better to submit their resignations”.


According to the PTI MNA Engineer Hamid Ul Haq, On August 13, a day before PTI’s ‘Azadi’ march on Independence Day, Imran will present the MNAs’ resignations to the NA speaker.


PTI MNA Engineer Hamid Ul Haq also said that, 17 MNAs from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa were dedicated to handing over their resignation to the party chief.


Out of a total of 34 PTI MNAs, 17 are from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on general seats and four on reserved seats, eight are from Punjab on general seats and two on reserved seats, while one member is from Sindh and another from Fata.


According to information, the PTI chief is focusing on giving the government a final ultimatum to meet his demands.


According to the Imran Khan (Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf), the time for negotiation has been over with the Government. We have already utilized all the options and now as a last option we decided to come to the streets.


According to the Imran Khan (Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf), Decisive battle will begin on August 14 and ‘Azadi’ march will not stop.
