Pooja is the eldest child of Indian film director Mahesh Bhatt. Pooja Bhatt was born to Mahesh Bhatt and Anglo-Indian Kiran Bhatt (aka Loraine Bright).
She is the step daughter of Soni Razdan and her brother Rahul Bhatt and half-sisters Shaheen and Alia Bhatt. Mohit Suri and Emraan Hashmi are her cousins.
She started her career with TV film which directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt and then she turned to films like, ‘Sadak’ opposite Sanjay Dutt, ‘Junoon’, ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’ opposite Aamir Khan, ‘Sir’, ‘Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee’, ‘Tadipaar’ and all other blockbuster hit film and Pooja won numeours awards.
