Paris: unknown gunmen have attacked a convoy of cars belonging to a Saudi prince, stealing important documents and 250, 000 Euros.
According to the reports, the Saudi prince’s convoy was heading through northern Paris on its way to Le Bourget airport late on Sunday evening when it was raided.
The unknown gunmen detained a motor vehicle carrying the documents and money and also detained driver and two others.
No one was injured, Saudi prince’s convoy come from the Saudi embassy.
Police say the unknown attackers were looking like as commandos. Police did not reveal the name of the Saudi princes.
According to reports, the unknown attackers were Kalashnikov rifles. The motorcade, belonging to a Saudi prince, was targeted by 8 people in 2 separate vehicles. Unknown gunman pointed their guns at the driver of the Mercedes and forcing him to stop.
No shots were fired but the Saudis (detained driver and two others) were later freed and the vehicle eventually found burned out.
