Islamabad: Government changed the policy and the military operation is ready to start at North Waziristan. The operation will be start in March.
According to the government and military officials, At least the civil and military leadership are agreed to starting a military operation. In the recent meeting under the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the various options were considered for the dealing with the Taliban.
According to the resources, the operation will start in the March because due to the cold, but the air strikes may be possible on the Taliban position.
According to the retired security establishment officer, Haqqani also understand that the operation at the North Waziristan is much important.
He also said that, a lot of time is waste in the name of talks but now then the operation will start soon.
According to the senior minister, the government is ready to compromise with the groups but if the groups will not positively responds than they will be dealt with strongly.
