Talks about a long-term solution to Iran’s nuclear program have been expanded for four months, with discussions scheduled to start again in September.
Iran and six world powers – the United States, Briton, France, Germany, Russia, and China, couldn’t achieve an agreement over more than a few contested problems.
One major sticking point included just how much uranium Iran would be allowed to enhance under deal that would slowly lift international sanctions against the country.
Western powers are distressed that Tehran’s program would be used to build a nuclear bomb, a warning which has been repeatedly planted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
While Iran’s leadership declares it is unconcerned in following weapons and only developing civilian nuclear power.
