Nearly 45 People Wounded In Train Crash In Germany

The German media has reported that a freight train has crashed into a EuroCity passenger line in Mannheim, Germany.

But no one was died in the collision, although nearly 45 people were wounded as two of the passenger train’s carriages, carrying 110 people on board, were overturned.

The medical officials have reported that five of the victims are in serious condition. Mannheim’s fire department said the crash could have taken a more serious figure, if the trains were not traveling at a comparatively slow speed cause of nearness to the central station.
