London: The ex-world champion boxer Amir Khan has been detained after allegedly assaulting on two teenagers in a street while he was returning from a mosque after offering prayer.


According to British news reports, ex-world champion was going back home after offering prayer toward home, suddenly clash appeared between him and a teenager group and in the result two were victimized violence by the boxer.


The British professional boxer, 27, Olympic silver medalist was detained in the early hours of Friday after an incident in his home town, Bolton.


The officials told that Amir made victim two teenagers a great violence, first one got injury on face and second one on foot, probe is going on but the British boxer has been released on bail.


The alleged attack happened on Russell Street in Heaton after the boxer stopped with a group of men in a Mercedes C-class.
