Manila: The international media reported, the officials said that Disaster-affected Philippines braced for a second harsh hurricane in five days on Saturday, deaths exceeded 77 in the result of Typhoon Rammasun.
Whereas Tropical Storm Matmo wasn’t forecast to smack the main island of Luzon, the weather service threatened it would yet get heavy rains to the area over the weekend, together with warn of flash floods or landslides.
The President Benigno Aquino’s spokesman Abigail Valte said, “(Matmo) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility. We should get ready now before the heavy rains fall,” in a threaten by broadcast over government radio.
The warning from Matmo emerge as the country received the parts from Rammasun, the first largest hurricane of the wet season and the deleterious since Super Typhoon Haiyan killed nearly 7,300 people in November last year.
