The Philippines is supporting itself for the strongest storm to strike the country this year, as Typhoon Rammasun heads towards the capital, Manila.
Eastern coastal areas have been vacated, whereas ferry services have been suspended and schools locked in parts of the main Luzon Island.
Parts of the Philippines are still getting well from Typhoon Haiyan, one of the major cyclones known to have made landfall anywhere, which killed over 6,100 people last year.
A lot of in tsunami-like sea surges and left millions homeless. The typhoon is anticipated to make landfall later on Tuesday with flurries of wind of up to 160 k/ph.
