Jhia Khan was found dead Monday night at 22:45, at his home in Juhu in Mumbai. Aged 25, the first signs of the survey show that it would be a suicide by hanging. No suicide note has yet been found.
Jhia Khan made his Bollywood debut with Nishabad , directed by Ram Gopal Varma, where she played alongside Amitabh Bachchan. She was even nominated as Best Actress in Filmfare Awards 2007. She then appeared alongside Aamir Khan in Ghajini, directed by AR Murugadoss in 2008 and in Housefull in 2010, which unfortunately was his last film.
According to his relatives, Jhia Khan suffering from depression. An investigation is underway to explain the reasons for his suicide.
