The Army Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif has been selected the new Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Rashid Mehmood, Selected chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
According to media the president Mamnoon Hussain elected Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif for new Chief of the Army Staff by the article 3 and also Lieutenant General Rashid Mehmood Selected chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
Gen Raheel Sharif Pervez Kiyani will leave and give the whole charge to Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif on 29 November and Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif would be Pakistan’s army new General. On 29 November Lt Gen Rashid Mehmood will hold their charge as new General.
Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif is a brother of Shabbir Sharif Shaheed who sacrificed for our nation that is great honor by us that Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif would be our new General.
