Egypt: 24 Killed and 28 After a Train Collides With Mini-Bus

Cairo: At least 24 Killed and half of dozen injured when a train collides with mini-bus in southern cairo, Police.




The cargo train crashed into the vehicles at a crossing in Giza district, located about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Cairo, Egyptian officials.


Egyptian railways have a bad record of safety in 2012, 50 people killed mostly children when a train collides with school bus. In 2002 360 people were killed when blaze ripped through seven carriages on an overcrowded train.
