The social network Twitter announced Tuesday that it will now allow the creation of custom designed to meet the son messages deemed most relevant on a particular topic.
“We introduce custom son to give you more control over how tweets are organized and provided on the Twitter platform, “said the network in a message posted on his blog for application developers.
“When a conversation about an event or issue becomes important on Twitter, you can create a thread that highlights what you think is the most remarkable and relevant tweets,” he says.
Specifically, the creator of a custom thread “chooses tweets he wants to add manually or programmed” with a programming interface (API), and can then share with other users, says the network.
Among the uses possible, it evokes a thread created by the show’s host of talent show The Voice, Carson Daly, to support the program, a review of tweets organized by site internet Politico or wire together the best moments a sports competition.
Functionality will be deployed “in the coming days” for all users of the TweetDeck application for managing his or her account on the network. Twitter also plans to provide a test (beta) version of the API to interested integrate new functionality to their own application developers.
