Abuja: Nigeria’s militant organization Boko Haram has declared establishment of Islamic State in N Northeast regions.


Abubakar Shekau, who is the leader of Boko Haram Islamic militant organization, has announced in a video a video that surfaced on social media, in which he appears with his partners that we have successfully captured Gwoza.


Shekau stated in his 52 minutes video clip, “Thanks be to Allah who gave victory to our brethren in [the town of] Gwoza and made it part of the Islamic caliphate. We did not do it on our own. Allah used us to captured Gwoza, Allah is going to use Islam to rule Gwoza, Nigeria and the whole world.”


Gwoza is a biggest region that situated in local government’s area, Borno State, Nigeria and with respect of population it has 2 million-65000 people. According to officials, the leader of Boko Haram has placed flag on place of ruler, ‘Ameer-e-Gwoza’.


On the other hand, severe conflict between militant organization and military is going on, while the Nigeria’s army has rejected the declaration of militants group and said that they didn’t captured Gwoza region.
