Freetown: Miatta Kargbo (Health Minister of Sierra Leone) has been dismissed by the country’s president over her handling of the Ebola (Virus) epidemic.
More than 400 people were killed in West Africa over Ebola virus. Presidency statement said that, Miatta Kargbo (Health Minister of Sierra Leone) was removed “to create conducive environment for efficient and effective handling of the Ebola outbreak”.
Statement also said that, Miatta Kargbo will be replaced by her deputy Dr Abubakarr Fofanah.
