Kabul: An insider attacker killed United States Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene by open gunfire, while more than 15 NATO soldiers were severe wounded during gun firing.
According to international news agencies, US Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene, was at highest post of the NATO-led coalition, has killed in the Afghanistan combat and his death created the problems annoying the Americans as they attempt to finish the 13-year-old clash, competing with a political crisis that has warned to splinter the Afghan government and leave it incapable to ward off the Taliban.
Those who were wounded, in which, a German Army Brigadier Gen also injured, while those NATO soldiers who targeted by insider attacker’s open gunfire, some are in serious condition.
The insider attacker who attacked, has been killed in military’s retaliation, while on the other hand, Pentagon has confirmed that death of US General on Tuesday, was killed in an open gunfire in Afghanistan and saying further, the highest-ranking US death since the 9/11 attacks.
