The Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Tuesday it had delayd indefinitely a meeting between the deputy foreign ministers of Russia and Japan, internatiopnal media stated. The move followed a new round of anti-Russia sanctions.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov was to get together with his Japanese counterpart, Shinsuke Sugiyama, in late August.
but the ministry told that holding such a meeting would be “inappropriate against the backdrop of new anti-Russian sanctions.”
