Switzerland included 26 Russians and Ukrainians and 18 organizations to a list on Tuesday “to prevent bypassing of Western sanctions against Russia,” internaional news agencies reported.
This move tracks the individuals and organizations on the EU’s sanctions list and enhances the figure of people affected to 87 and the figure of organizations to 20. The measures acquire force at 1600 GMT on Tuesday.
In March, Switzerland all set against imposing their own sanctions in response to the Ukraine crisis and the cabinet has no plans to change this policy.
