The US and Australia have consented Tuesday to take the issue of foreign jihadist fighters in Syria, Iraq and some other places to the United Nation, international news agencies reported.

US Secretary of State John Kerry stated, “We intend to… put it on the agenda in a way that will elicit support from the source countries as well as those countries of concern.”

The United States and Australian officials previous talked about the issue, encouraged by photos of a Sydney-born boy holding the severed head of soldier in Syria.
