The United States President Barack Obama stated that Washington is all set to think carefully about imposing further sanctions on Russia if Moscow doesn’t change policy towards Ukraine.

Obama answered, “We don’t know yet,” adding that he believes “Sanctions are working as planned in putting massive pressure and tension on the Russian economy,” citing markets, “estimates in terms of capital flight and projections for Russian growth.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin has a choice “to try to resolve the issues in eastern Ukraine through diplomacy and peaceful means…or alternatively continue on the course he’s on, in which case he’s going to be hurting his economy, and hurting his own people over the long term,” Obama stated further.
