The Pentagon proclaimed that they had delivered a second airdrop of humanitarian supplies to Iraqi ethnic Yazidi, presently taking refuge from the militant ISIS group in mountainous terrain close to Mosul.
The supplies added 28,224 United States army rations and 1,522 gallons of drinking water. Cargo planes were accompanied by F-18 fighter jets released from the carrier USS George H.W. Bush presently positioned in the Gulf.
