A court in China’s far western enclave of Xinjiang has sentenced 25 more people to prison terms ranging from three years to life for terror-linked crimes, Chinese media reported.
Those imprisoned were all convicted on accuses linked to their participation in arranging, leading or taking part in terror groups in Xinjiang, People’s Court Daily.
Further said they establish an “illegal religious group” which sermonize jihad and other extremist ideologies.
One of the groups was reportedly to blame for purchasing knives and volatile devices, and for setting up assaults on police and government officials and others were responsible for raising funds for its activities, the media reported.
