Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has refused demands for his resignation and said again repeatedly that his government will complete five-year constitutional term, on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister’s comments came out as chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party demanded his resignation because PTI had claimed that Pakistan Muslim League (N) named victory in last year’s election with the help of rigging.
The chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party Imran Khan and PAT leader Dr. Tahirul Qadri all set to protest or Azadi March tomorrow against current government.
The PML (N) leader had named victory in the parliamentary elections in May, 2012. PTI leader has intended an anti-government march on August 14 in Islamabad because he wants to throw out from Prime Minister’s seat which he has acquired with so much rigging.
PTI and PAT leader has declared that their protest will be long term until the current Prime Minister’s resigns. On the other hand, The PM also proclaimed establishment of a Supreme Court commission to inspect the accusations of rigging in last year’s election.
PM Sahrif stated during his live televised addressing on TV, “The government will not allow anyone to derail the democratically elected set-up.”
Sharif has thrown out the demand for his quitting and stated new elections will be held in 2018 and before that it is not possible.
He stated further, “I again invite Imran Khan for dialogue. I am an elected person and will listen to the demands of the opponents.”
