Galle: Sri Lankan have named first victory in Galle Test Series and taking lead by 1-0 as they beat Pakistan by 7 wickets.


First test match of this test series which played in Galle cricket stadium in Galle city, all Pakistani batting line up collapsed after scored 180.


Now the Sri Lanka appeared in the stadium to chase minor target as 99 runs, Upul Tharanga scored 12, Jayawardene 26, Kumar Sangakkara 21 and collapsed but after this Kithuruwan Vithanage 11, Captain Angelo Mathews scored 25 and made their team victor in first test match of this series.


Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews, who was so happy after great win and praised their tigers as they showed awesome cricket in first test match.


Angelo Mathews stated like this, “It was one of the best games I have played and Herath was unbelievable. “What an unbelievable player Mahela is. Hopefully we can win the next game as well.”


As the last day’s game started, Pakistani batting line-up couldn’t face well Lankan bowlers and collapsed intermittently badly and middle order batsman Younus Khan couldn’t stand in front of rival bowlers.
