Kabul: The Afghan military has claimed that they has killed over 260 Taliban in a operation which done to foiled possession of them.
According to international sources, Afghan Interior Ministry Spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said, “The Taliban offensive has been beaten back, their plan to gain territory and capture districts have totally been foiled. Some 260 of the terrorists have been killed.”
The spokesman also said that they have been taken the control back Sangeen region but the advancing of security forces is getting slow cause of landmines which been erected by Taliban. We also heard that the security forces has Inactivated almost 60 landmines in just a day.
However, on the other hand, Taliban has kicked off all claims which Afghan security forces done, said they war against government forces is going on and attacks on military by Taliban side also going on.
