The officials said on Sunday, death toll has risen to 11 people following a building collapse on the suburbs of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu state in India on Saturday.


Four construction employees died on the spot, while seven other died after hospitalizing.


Almost 90 employees are considered to be ensnared under the wreckage, the disaster management agency commissioner T.S.


Sridhar told to local media. The official statement about the real reason of this regrettable incident couldn’t come out yet, but there are reports that the accident occurred probably cause of the impact of lightning.


Two persons, who are considered to be the owners of the building, were detained morning along with two engineers as police rounded up five people in link with the incident and booked them under different sections of IPC.


The Director General of Police K Ramanujam saying as addressing to media reporters, “The Chennai Police Commissioner has already visited the spot. Five persons have been secured and inquiry is on into the incident.”


Remember that the regrettable accident came out on Sunday nearly at 12.35 in Chennai city, who is the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
