Bosnian Serbs erected a monument to Gavrilo Princip on Friday, a nationalist who shot and killed Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, a move that set in motion World War I.

On Saturday, Sarajevo will mark 100 years since the assassination. The bronze monument by Zoran Kuzmanovich, an architect from Belgrade, is two meters high and stands in the East Sarajevo district.

The territory links to Republika Srpska, or the Bosnian Serb Republic.

The Austrian said, adding the orchestra is delivering a message of humanity to those who want to listen, “We feel obliged to do things in a better way than it was done in the past,”.
