Almost 2 people have been killed and six others injured after a huge explosion hit an army checkpoint outside the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi late on Wednesday, the military said.
A car blew up in Barsis, situated east of the port city, the official said, adding that the blast was apparently a suicide attack. A suicide bomber hit the same military checkpoint in December.
