Ukraine’s acting defense minister, Mikhail Koval, told reporters on Wednesday that Ukrainian army and self-defense forces in eastern Ukraine have been using the ceasefire to exchange prisoners.
The process is going on in line with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s peace plan.
Over some days, ten defense ministry servicemen have been exchanged, he said, giving no details on how many people from the self-defense forces had been freed.
