Japan will raise some sanctions on North Korea in return for their resuming of a investigation into the fortune of Japanese civilians kidnapped decades before, international media reported.


A move appears after a fresh report came out that some of those abducted are alive. Japan will pick up travel curbs to and from North Korea.


Sanctions will be finished on the amount of money that can be sent or brought to the North without announce Japanese officials. Tokyo will also five the permission port calls by North Korean ships for humanitarian aims.


North Korea had reportedly handed Japan the names of almost 10 of their nationals said to be living in that country. Some of them are considered to have been kidnapped.
