Islamabad: Government has decided to hand over the responsibility for the security of the (Capital) Islamabad to Army.


According to the Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Under Constitution’s Article 245, Pakistan government on Friday approved to hand over security responsibilities of the federal capital Islamabad to Pakistan Army for three months commencing from August 1.


Civilian government is permissible to receive Army’s help under interior and exterior security concerns. According to the Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar, the decision of the government will not be challenged in any court of Pakistan.


The federal authorities took conclusion under constitutional act 245; the safety measures transfer to Pakistan Army would be made on August.


Remember that, security has increased in all over the Pakistan after the start of military operation against terrorists in North Waziristan.
