A Chinese town cordoned off after a 38-year-old died from bubonic pestilence last week opened again on Thursday, international media reported.

The officials have discovered no more cases of the disease in Yumen. They previous stopped 30,000 people living in the town in the northwestern province of Gansu from leaving.

Road blocks stopped others from entering. Gansu’s health bureau said no new pestilence cases have been found, the China News service reported.
