Ukraine Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk declared on Wednesday Kiev would impose sanctions on Russian individuals and companies who directly or not directly support “terrorists” fighting against government security forces in the country’s east.

Prime Minister told a meeting of his ministers that he had arranged a special committee to work on the punitive measures.

He explained, “I instruct the committee to propose for the government’s consideration a list of individual and sector sanctions on Russian citizens and legal entities supporting and financing terrorism in Ukraine in 10 days.

He didn’t give any information about sanctions. Kiev and the West blame Russia of supporting por- Russian separatist insurgents in eastern Ukraine, a charge Moscow declines.

The United States and the European Union have imposed some rounds of sanctions on Russian individuals and companies over Ukraine.
